Any one help I need the info on which pin does what on two ecus.
One is from a xr3i efi and the other is a 130bhp 3i mk4.
Doind a zetec conversion and having probs with wiring . Only got 8 ires to sort lamda etc. Do i need to run lamda as not using cat? I asume i do as using the standerd ecu.

You need to give people a bit more to go on, what are the two ecu's?

 

from what you have said they sound like the same ECU's an EFI XR3i is the MK4?????

Soz a bit of a miss type

One is a 1990 xr3i efi
The other is a 130ps xr3i mk5.

What it is i am putting a zetec in the mk4. Got the engine loom but not main loom as car was nicked before i got it out.

The prob is there is a 8 pin multi plug on the engine loom that joins main loom. Wondered what each pin does on ecu. That way i may be able to use some of the standard wires in the mk4 instead of having seperate relays etc. Any help?

 

Hmmmmm, that could be tricky, what would be very helpful is firstly the wire colours, and possibly a picture of the loom, so i can see what is on the loom to make tracing the wires a bit easier.

What type of engine is it (MK5's having numerous different engines) and whats the ECU code aswell?
