my uncle has got a 1.1 fiesta N reg and it has problems starting when cold, it will start but then it runs really badly for a couple of seconds then dies.

its fine when it is warm and has had a good run and doesnt miss when its driving, so that rules out the spark plugs and Ht leads but does anybody have any ideas? please help cause he wants to sell it asap.

 

ive been told it might be the auto choke does this sound right can anybody confirm or deny this?
