not easily, and for a reason. the data inside the ecu is calibrated for each driveline type, as they react differently under braking. a 4x4 obviously has a physical link through the transmission from front to rear axle that affects the way that the pressure should be modulated during anti lock.

the 4x4 abs loom will not plug into a 2wd car loom, as the plug is in a different place and contains different wires.

however, all of the physical braking parts are the same on the abs system, like sensors, pressure switches, pumps etc, so from that point of view you can use a different loom.

from your post, i don't quite understand what you want to do, but if you elaborate i can probably help you further. i have reshelled 2wd stuff into a 4x4 shell, so have dealt with most problems.

thanks for the reply, ive put an escos engine and running gear in a pug 205 and am trying to wire up the abs with no joy, the abs loom i have doesn't tally at all with the cosworth abs wiring diagrams, so i was going to get a cosworth loom to make it easier
