Default N/A ZVH build?

I'm building a n/a zvh with a 2ltr zetec block, stage 3 big valve 1.6 head, zvh cam kit and twin 40s.

I am lookin to know how i would go about building this engine? As most people build a zvh using a turbo unit.

Any advice welcome.

Also is the any DIY kits for building this engine on the market?

I think this is stupid idea.
Better build Zetec engine with big valves and agressiv cams. ZVH is easy conversion for turbo engine but for n/a Zetec will be more powerfull.

It may not be a quick engine, but it is a step in a different direction for this part of the world.

Also i bought the stage 3 big valve head, the janspeed 4 branch, the janspeed full system and a set of 40s on cvh manifold for my woman's escort 1600. but she sold it before i got to fit them, so i'm not lettin them go to waste.

So any info on how to build them is still welcome.

Not a common conversion to be honest. You would be better with a 16v (not the 1600 Zetec head) head which would increase response..

If you still want to stick with the N/A ZVH, go for the 2l bottom end and keep the compression fairly high. Don't over port the head (mild port only) and run a decent manifold and induction kit.

Other than that, all the block modifications are as the same as the turbo ZVH but without the oil return for the turbo.

How do you plan to run an ignition system?

I have already bought the stage 3 big valve head, the janspeed 4 branch, the janspeed full system and a set of 40s on cvh manifold.

Info needed:

Any info on a good zvh cam kit? (make, etc?)

2ltr zetec mondeo block (what modifications need to be made?)

How to run an ignition system?
