Default turbo technics part numbers??

i have recently acquired a bargain hybrid turbo technics t3 unit for my s2, but im unsure of the exact spec. is there anywhere on the unit itself with a part number that specifies the exact spec?? i kno its hybrid, but wud b nice to kno exactly wot stage it is.

even if it was standard spec i wudnt care, as a brand new turbo with collins actuator and inlet manifold for 100 quid isnt bad in my eyes!! lol

The Turbo Technics turbo i have on my car has a plate on the compressor housing, there is a serial number and some other info on there.

Maybe if you give Turbo Technics a call with this information they may hold records of the turbos they have built.

No problem, as you say the compressor/turbine housing sizes will be cast into the housings but this wont tell you other infoormation eg type of thrust bearing

what r the main difference between the stages on a hybrid?? eg, the changes frm stage 1 to stage 2?? will i be able to tell anything frm looking at the unit, or wil it b all internal changes, that cnt b seen thru the blades?? mite sound stupid, but iv neva had to mess with a turbo before, n im keen to kno if my bargain turbo turns out to b even more of a bargain if its higher spec'd
