Default head any good?

just stripped an engine that was knocking from an xr3 cab, took off head and it has had a fair bit of work done such as 3 angled valve seats adjustable tappets, ports are huge, double valve springs etc, need to know if will be any good on a turbo or not due to combustion chamber and valve clearances etc

The turbo head is the same head as any XR3/XR3i head, so it should fit nicely. You should anyhow investigate the cam, cam wheel, and amount skimmed so you better know what you can use.
BTW, as far as I know, any CVH head has 3 angle valve seats as standard. At least for the inlet side. Of course these still are not race type seats.
