S2 gearbox and diff advice needed?!

Ok, something has definately gone on my RS, its either the gearbox of the diff, haven't had a chance to get under it yet and find out which one it is! Now, after a blow like this, shall i just go ahead and change both no matter what it is that has actually gone? And also, is it wise to put a diesel box in it this time? Any info on the good and bad points of the diesel box idea would be appreciated?!

totally agree with moonie!
bernie is a top man and will sort all your problems!
i destroyed 7 boxes before i got one from bernie.

i bought a stage 2 box from bernie and its been great, i was also told the deisel box has no benefits at all over a normal box, same bearings etc. plus a deisel box has no lsd.
