Default escos not turning over/starting

Going down the road (30mph), car just stopped firing & died, pulled over, dash lights on, everything working, but starter motor won't turn over (volt meter doesn't move when cranked).

Had a look for the problem, couldn't find anything obvious, tried it quite a few times, only once did it turn over for a few seconds, but did not start.

btw, there's a 20A fuse (connected to a relay-3 of them) on the ABS (which has never worked) ecu thing in the boot which has blown & blew again as soon as I put the ignition on, don't know whether it has anything to do with it??

Had another look this morning, still the same, but actually turned over once & started, but 5 seconds later died again (this was with the abs fuse blown).

Anyone help??????

Cheers, Nik

Self helped!!

Fuse box resolder cured the problem............... phew!!

There must have been a solder shortage when these were made!
