Default Cometic headgasket - pressure in water system ?

Anybody that can give advice on this, is there anything else supposed to be used in conjunction with the cometic headgasket (WRC spec) as water bottle has bursted from the pressure. We have taken the head off to check the block but can find nothing wrong. After placing the head back the torque setting was increased but still the same thing ?

Anything we are doing wrong here ?

did you put the gasket on dry ??

i would never recomend the use of a mls gasket with out applying some sort of sealer to the faces 1st as leakage can occur of oil and water
