Default Cosworth 2wd tuning advice

I want to fit a turbosmart 2stage boost controller on my 2wd. Is this easy and what would I do with the amal valve????

Also

I am planning on rebuilding my bottom end and filling some new pistons (low comp ones, 0.5 oversize) but I dont want to change the cams and head. Whats recommended. Its a 205 block.

dont bother changing cams cos if you run bd10s etc it will run lumpy

i beleive the boost controller will do the job of the amal valve anyway, so i presume that will get binned, as far as mods go, standard engine and head/cams should be fine unless you plan on going above 400bhp,then you'd be needing a few bits and bobs

does the boost controller come with a valve? otherwise it may or may not be compatible with the amal valve.

does that controller require a bleed on, or bleed off control valve?

The boost controller is basically an electronic solinoid controlled by a switch with two adjustable settings!!!!

As for my engine rebuild I have a new t35 turbo ready to be fitted but wanna rebuild the bottom end an top but change the pistons for some forged low comp ones. Havnt got a clue which to get (I DONT wanna change the head or cams)????

I am doing my bottom end this winter, am using 4x4 0.5 oversize pistons will drop compression to 7.8:1 I believe this is a good move as the pistons have offset gudgeon pins so should have no slap from cold. Also have been told to get pistons measured and each bore matched to get best build. So will be going down this route. Will also get crank polished.
