cossie 4x4 rear springs (lowering)
can anyone help putting lowering springs on car .i have undone rear shocker so can pull down rear arm but still can get the spring out ant tips please help

Normally the spring should slide straight out,
but i had the same problem on a 4x4saph as someone had put heavy duty springs on it so they could use it to tow a caravan!
to get them off you could unbolt the driveshaft which should give you enough room to bar the spring out.
you could cut the spring out with oxycetelene and as the springs you are fitting should be shorter they should slide straight in.
the proper way to do it though would be to buy spring gags, which will compress your spring so it is small enough to remove. Btw be careful not to break the brake pipe when removing the spring.
