A mate of mine has got a 2.1 zetec bottomend with a 1.8 head with fastroad cams and a superchip. The engine is freshly built and has been rollingroaded at 161 BHP. The problem is that at full throttle above 3500 rpm it feels like the mixture is poor (like it doesn't get enough fuel). How does he solves this. Is a cosworth fuelpump an option??? Does that fit without any hassle???? Or does he need colder sparks?? Anyone got a clue cause it's really frustrating that after spending all that money it still doesn't run well.

get an uprated fuel pressure regulator and switch to a rs1800i or 130bhp xr ecu.
