hello i just bought a 2 litre zvh engine for my escort i been told its done between 1000 and 1500 miles so does anyone no the best gade oil to put in it thanks for any help .........

I POST SAME QUESTION IN THE RS TURBO SECTION WAS TOLD ANY FULL SYNTHETIC NO LOWER THAN 5W IF JUST FULLY REBUILT MINE GOT IT RUNNING FOR THE FIRST TIME TODAY I USED 5 40 CASTROL RS

cheers i will get some of that then i started taking my old engine out earlyer and got a couple days off work so going fit new engine tomorow hopefully thanks ....

i use a 10w 40 semi synthetic in my rs turbo should be the same i think!

always fully synthetic in a turbo

5w40, 10w40 something around that as others have recommended
