Malfunction Indicator Light on
Got a 2000 Fiesta 1.25 Zetec 30K miles
The Malfunction Indicator Light (orange coloured shaped like engine) comes on and stays on.
The car runs as normal the only thigs i think it could be are
1) The fuel fill lamp had been on for about 10miles before i fuelled up about 7 miles before the MIL came on
2) the brakes have been feeling not quite right recently - ie slightly less punchy.
I have run the self diagnostic test (push oddom. reset and the swith key to possition 2) and the DTS reports NONE, so i am hoping this rules out major (read expensive!!) problems

thats your engine management light mate. if your sayin about when fueling up it could be the fuel sender unit. on those the common problem is MAF sensors packing up. think there about £100 from ford. best thing to do is take it to a ford dealer and let them put the diagnostic machine on it.
