Default alternator

hello again. ive almost completed my n/a zvh, i bolted the original cvh alternator & bracket on perfect but the belt doesnt line up strait with the bottom pulley so do i have to shave a bit off the bottom pulley or is there an easyer way? thanks again

Can you not alter the position of the alternator pulley by moving the shims either side of the pulley to move it up or down the alternator shaft?
