it might sound a silly question but how do u get the timing marks on a vernier pulley as i cant find it

 

From whay I remember to time a vernier you need a dial guage to find the excact engine TDC and then to find the exact angle of dwell on the cam itself using a round piece of paper with 360 degree markings and the manufacturs recommended timings in degrees for the Cam/ application. If you have no experience before I would strongly recommend you find someone who has. regards
