hi. can someone please explain the differences bettween the 205 and 200
blocks? can a 205 block be long studed? whats the max bhp you can go to with a 205 block. cheers........

The 205 block was fitted to 2wd cossies and the 200 block was fitted to 4wd cossies. I think the 200 block is thicker and is always the choice for big bhp rebuilds.

200block is choice,but my pal did a home rebuild using a 205 block,hes done nearly 20k now and been on rollers 4times dynod at 400-408bhp and its still in 1 peice,you pays ya money ya takes ya chances. saying that im running about the same spec and i used a 200block
