ive recenty done a RS2000 turbo conversion , we had the engine from a running donor car and transplanted it into my car , because the car was running on standard rs2k management it had a missfire at 3500 rpm so we changed the managment to fiesta turbo , the problem is the car will idle and rev fine whilst parked up but as soon as its under load (driving ) it'll cough and splutter and kangaroo along 10mph foot to the floor any idea's ?

 

If this is the engine out of rawli's car try speaking to stu at msd as it went there for some work ages ago or pm rs_rawli of here as he's a very nice man and will probably know whats wrong

i'll give stu a ring tomoz mate thanks , yes its rawli's dads old car got written off the problems only happened since the new management went on the engine , not sure if we need a fiesta turbo fuel pump or if it needs chipping we think its something to do with fueling

 

Kenny @ MSD is the only person I know who has sucessfully done an RS2K turbo conversion. Give them a ring!
