every now again, although its getting more common now , the car will just stall, it happens when i am driving along and then i have to come to a stop and i put my foot on the clutch the revs come down as they should but sometimes the revs just drop right down and the car stalls . Anyone any ideas?

 

Hello matey my saff cos is doin exactly the same thing. im changing phase sensor and rotor arm at weekend(iv changed coil leads....etc already)if that does any thing different ill let you know,if you cure your car could you let me know what you have done as it is buggin me like mad.Also when your car cuts out does it sometimes turn over a bit before firing back up??

 

No it fires up ok. Someone has told me told check the idle speed by removing the iscv plug and adjusting it, it should run at 850 rpm with the iscv unplugged and the engine warm, feeling lazy today so will do it tomorrow, but i'll let you know how i get on
