Default 2.o efi pinto into mk 2 escort

we have fitted a 2.ol pinto efi into a mk 2 escort. it runs but we have a problem with the accelerator cable.I need a cable with one end like the metal nipple you get on a mountain bike brakes (or efi cvh fiesta/ early zetec) and the other end (pedal end) like the plastic one that clips onto to XR2 carb with the little metal clip that goes over it....... If anyone has clue what the hell i am talking about please let me know if there are any cables from the fords parts bin i could get.

cheers people.

how about a Sierra EFi pinto cable - will fit the throttle end, and the pedal end is the same as MK2 Escort ..

good conversion. i love my mk1 with 2.0i. a good tune is to change the cam to a 'high torque' one that either kent or piper do for that engine. and a head port and skim works wonders.

wierd.. what is different? I used a sierra Cosworth cable on my MK2, i needed a long cable to run sidedraft webers, the pedal end fitted ok...
thinking about it, maybe I had to enlarge the hole slightly as the Escort pedal ball was slightly larger than Sierra perhaps??
