Power roof fitting
I have a mk4 xr3i cabby but it has a manual roof. I was wonderin how hard it is 2 fit a power roof mechanism in place of the manual 1??
NE advice on fittin or if NE1 knows sum1 around the birmingham area that will fit it 4 a reasonable price let me no!!

Piece of piss to fit.
the kit contains the hydrolic rams,power motor,wiring loom with switch.
Just a matter of swapping your struts for the hydrolic ones,mount the pump in the boot,left hand side, feed loom through with the switch on,wire up live and earth.

theres instructions on there that tell ya exactly how to do it, and ive done the same thing to my cabby and it a fookin piece of pi55

i ahave done this fitting rams is easy but you need to change ball joint parts that the rams fit too (ford sell them ) wiring loom not too bad to fit worse part is getting it in correct connections under dash as it goes all the way to the battery and ignition.
i do have a wiring diagram if you need it.
