fiesta rst engine into a mk2 efi orion ghia wiring help
As above! how easy is it to do the wiring? i.e. can i use my existing efi loom and just swap the pins on the ecu over? or is it a bit more complex? all help would b much appreciated ppl!,
incidentally it is the ecu that can handle the higher boost, not sure if its ofac or ofab

if you have all the bits you need from a fiesta then all you need to change is the engine, ecu, map sensor, and obviously the turbo ( but id go for a T3 from an escort turbo) everything is there in the orion ready for you! advice on the the turbo tho,see if you can get hold of a turbo like a hybrid that has a 48 exhaust housing as you then wont have to make an elbow shape pipe, and all you have to do is put an escort turbo system on and then just get a longer backbox! good luck with the conversion!!! let me know how you get on.

Cheers m8, i already have changed the turbo and manifold for a t3 and have an exhaust sitting, all im worried about is the ecu? do i just take my old one out and plug a new one in? or do i have to change the pins on the plug?

you need to check if you have O-FAB or O-FAC system, not 100% sure mate, all i know is you need to swap everything from the fiesta (thats if you r taking bits off a written off one or whatever) and just put it on to yours then take it to get it set up!
