Yes had car (erst) on road again for 2 days and yes its fcuking broke again glad i didnt take it to pod at weekend left it behind as didnt think it would make it...come back yesterday started it and it was running on 3 i left it to run for about 5 mins and it was fine then later on when i put me foot down a bit it started to hold back and run on 3 again only for few seconds this time.started it up this morning and ran on 3 again but was holding back all way home so sounds like it was on 3 again ive checked and there is a spark on all 4 so might be fueling???? if not would a worn cam do this as mine is getting pretty old now???

check the metering unit

 

wont be the cam as there design to run onfor miles ,but just rattle! does sound like the metering unit,try giving it a clean with some brake cleaner,take the air box off and clean the dish in the centre with a bar that goes across it,also clean your breather pipes too as this should help,mine does it sometime! but only for about 10 secs then clears,common problem mate so dont worry too much!

 

will give it ago it do seem weird i only changed metering head other week as one on car was me mates i was borrowing so could be this..
