HI hope some one can help ive got a saff 4x4 osf drive shaft fooked have got one but it has not got the groove for the split pin i have been told not to worry dont put split pin in any way will that be ok

Should be o.k.

Could always make a groove with a hack saw around the end of the shaft for the circlip.
