whirring noise

Default whirring noise

i have a 2wd saff cos and when the car is first fired up on a morning and i drive away i can hear a whirr it happens in second gear i never drive the car hard cold.i pull away in first change gear at about 2000rpm then in second i change at about 2.500rpm the whirr happens in that gear, then it doesnt do it any more it has only happend since i stage 3 the car and rolling roaded her on sat, is it the gear box or the diff or am i wrong. any help aprecciated thanx p.s the sound seems to come from the bulk head

check the oil level in the box and the diff

hi mate are your tires low on tread? mine done the same i thought it was a bearing when i fitted new tyres the noise stopped same 2nd gear 2000rpm.

my tires are a little low but the car does it the once and once only
