when using a cosworth L8 ecu with a 2wd eng loom and a 4wd tps do the outer wires for the tps sensor have to be swapped to make it work correctly, also is there anything else that may have to be swapped/connected differently??

yes they do. that's mostly all, but if you have an ecu from a green top, it may be expecting a lambda sensor input, and knock sensor. it will run without though.
