is a dump valve needed
Hello Ian,
when you going to run 24psi of boost it is better for the bearings of your turbo. they live a while longer with a dumpvalve then without one. don't you like the sound of a dumpvalve.
best regards,

best regards,
ian: i have run 25psi thru my t34 for 9000 miles now WITHOUT a dump valve and it hasnt caused me any props. I no someone who runs 37 psi without a dumpvalve and his engine has done 30000 and is still as good as day 1.
Choice is yours IMO. Chatter is better and i find throttle response is better without a d/v anyway.

Ok another question how do i take the dump valve off but still making sure the gauge works? I have traced the vacuum pipe back to the side of the block where you screw a T piece in but if i take it out the gauge wont work surely?
