Default Idle speed

Hi all, I've got a ford probe 24v v6 which I need to set the idle speed on but I can't find any tool (temporary tachometer/rev counter) to reed the revs with and I don't want to use the dash rev counter as it's not that acurate. Any idea's.

Why aint the ford tacho that accurate in your eye's?? Shoud be fine for setting up idle speed. If your still not happy, then see if you could borrow a digital timing lamp off sum1 with a built in rev counter. That what i use when setting up idle on sum cars.

Thanks for replying cossiy604, I'll use the dash rev counter then. I just thought that a realy acurate one was needed for this job, thanks matey.
