mk2 xr2 cvh carb


dunno what the fook has happened....


car is still idling and driving normally..



but the rev counter is basically showing half of what it should

ie.. 3500 @ the limit etc



strange..


could anyone point me in the right direction plese, i have checked connections from the coil already

i have had the same problem and now sorted it you will have to take the dashboard of and take note of the colour wires going to the rev counter as i remember they are green and there are 2 of them trace these wires back and you will come across some resisters x2 near each other one of these pop and cause you to only half a signal hence 3500 revs replace both and problem solved
