i have recently bought myself an escort xr3i mk4 as a project and i was woundering what tuning mods yous would advise me to get?
i was thinking about...
chipped ECU
FSE boost valve
piper-x induction kit
anymore suggestions, contact addreses and numbers etc would be much apreciated
it already has a full straight through scorpion exhaust system with 3" tail pipe

i wouldnt bother personally, the gains are not worth it against the cost, its far better buying a good rst lump or rotton car, and doing a transplant
i take it your planned mods are on a 90 spec 3i?

yeah it is a 90spec,and i would have bought a RS turbo from the start but i am only 18 and insurance is a killer on a xr3i never mind a RS turbo
is it possible 2 swap anything over from a RS or similar car peformance wise? i.e:fuel pump?ECU?cylinder head(if the valves are bigger )etc...etc??

No, there's nothing like that to swap from the RS.
To see some power increases, you are looking at cylinder head work, cam upgrade, modified induction system, removal of the air-flow meter, different management, throttle bodies, higher compression, etc... The usual NA-stuff.
