Default any ideas ?

coming back from l/water today the esc cos started to play up,[big turbo]it started when i was crawling along in traffic and when i changed up a gear the engine jerked and started to hesitate,it wouldnt pull properly,[its done this a couple of times before]then it seemed to clear itself, drove fine for another 50 miles then when i was cruising at 50/60 it started to hesitate again and wouldnt pull, wouldnt boost up,[like it was in limp home mode]backed off then it seemed fine till i was a few miles from home when it started again, pulled into layby and the revs shot up then it died restarted but wouldnt idle was running on 3 cyl and stunk of petrol, left it 10 mins managed to start it up again and krept home, could it be coolant temp sensor maybe? the loom connections are fine and recently had new t/position/sensor,im p1ssed off now as had a good day till then, lol

I had something similar mate which turned out to be the two block connectors near the Power steering tank. i could touch mine and the car would play up. Mine used to chuck out black smoke and idle really rough.

I cleaned my connections out and all is well for the time being.

My Lamba sensor if the wires were disturbed used to make it run rough too.
