Default grs inter cooler

trying to fit a grs evo 3 inter cooler to my s2 along with 2 kenlowe fans i have a standard rad. i removed standard fan unbolted rad. and pushed it as far back as i could (against the accuator) i then fitted the fans then offered up the grs trying to have as little room as possible between fans and said grs before fans actually come into contact with i/ci then put my bumper back on and tried to close the bonnet and it wo't f******g shut i have also purchased bonnet pins cause i've read in previous posts that the bonnet can come open forgot to say the fans are 10 " any help would be grateful

yeah bonnet pins will add piece of mind, that the bonnet will stay closed when going along at full pelt....

yeah i have heard others with some aftermarket intercoolers have problems with it fouling the bonnet catch....

hopefully someone who has a GRS will post and help you out....

i just removed the bonnet catch and installed lockable bonnet pins, my bonnet is just about on top of the intercooler, but it shuts, i hammered the rounded parts of the crossmember down abit so the intercooler dropped down abit,

its a close fit on nearly every s2, my fans do catch sometimes on the intercooler, but one of my intercooler lugs have snapped so i cant attach it on one side, good old cable ties!

well tbh i like what im hearing about gearboxman, get your order in though as he takes 2 weeks to build, , my spec is low comp cossie pistons honed bores in a 1600 chv block stage 3 head standard cam cossie 4x4 loom with 2wd management and yellow injectors with cossie throttle body , not efi mapped by karl norris, stage 3 hybrid , and running in , so i have no idea of bost , id gues around 20 psi , easy 200 bhp. ill have to see when shes fully run in and i have good gearbox

i got an email tonight actually telling me that my new grs radiators on its way , how much is a single 10'' kenlowe fan anyone ?
