please can any1 help i bought a cossie and it was fine for 2 days then it just didnt wanna start then it did start but cut out again then it wouldnt start again then when it did start i drove it about 50 miles without a problem and it has been fine everyday this week and then 2day i drove about 20 miles and then it just cut out again and didnt start again it isnt over heating at all it has got 1/2 tank of fuel and it dont give ya anywarning that it is playing up just stops please help me

I had a problem similar some time ago, was the connection on the fuel pump relay under dash, it had melted the plastic, took ages to find it as sometimes it worked then other times it didn't, repaired socket on relay been ok since, maybe worth checking, also may be worth checking connections on your imobiliser as I had a fiesta also similar turned out to be knackered imobiliser.

 

thanks mate i had the RAC come out to me and after he squirted wd40 a couple of times he said nope i cant find the fault i will get a truck out to ya lol

check the crank sensor connection on bottom pulley also clean it from any dirt! maybe that
