Default Cossie Ign Amp...Different makes...???

Obviously there is the original Ford item, then there is the Huco German one as on Stu@msd'd website, and ive also seen a cossie with an Intermotor 15030 amp....

Just wondered if anyone knew any more about this, and whether any were any better than the otherand what the prices would be....

Thanks for that...

Says the 124 doesn't control Dwell though.....thought the Cossie one does....so im guessing they are not compatible.

personally, i would use a 2 channel bosch one, rather than 2 single ones for a coil pack. well i wouldn't actually use either actually, cos i'll go straight to coil on plug.

never heard of the bosch 2 channel one...

what cars are they fitted to, and do you know if they could be wired in place of the 2 seperate amps???

I take it even if they could, an L8 would still the board from Secs to make it work...

you can get single channel, 2 channel, 4 channel (for individual coils) etc.

don't know what they're fitted to as standard, just know that they're available (from IMA for example)

they can easily be wired in instead of two singles, and yes it just needs the board from SECS to work. you still need 2 triggers from the ecu to get each channel amp to fire the correct side of the coil for the correct plug pair
