hi igota bad fueling prob on my saff coz thet bad it nackers plugs on tick over and throws out so much smoke blue black grey it unreal guzzler has told me to check ecu and sensors so can anyone tell me in detail coz im thick how to test a coolant sensor with a multimeter i.e wat setting to use on the meter and is it easier to test the sensor off the car with hot water and wat should the reading be

right thanks dave for all your help it wasnt the temp sender tho after all but i fitted a new on anyway ,but after a did all the checks i took it to my m8s workshop to check th c.o 9.32% after further looking around then tacking the ecu off we find the nice brass spring type bodge the webber call the c.o adjustment had cane off the variable can at the back of the screw so if this happens to u check this

sounds daft now, but this would of been my first choice of checks, (CO%)but as you
asked just about temp sensor resistance, i assumed you would of been down this road first, still next time you will,
