Default Boost issue

Hi all
I’m looking for any help on the issues I’m having with my 2007 focus st.
The car under full load drops and picks up boost in waves. Also when driven slowly/normally warming it up there is hesitation going up the revs like what little boost it’s getting is still being taken away.
Please any ideas on what to do next would be greatly appreciated as already done maf sensor, boost solenoid and pressure test and coming up with no answers
cheers in advance

Sorry what is the wg port? I can have a look at the turbo actuator but is there anything to actually look for?

Wastegate is a valve that controls the flow of exhaust gas from an engine to the turbocharger..Actuator rod is connected to it...Maybe it is js just stuck or actuator is not properly keeping pressure due to age..Worth a try...

So why not find a competent mechanic who can actually diagnose the problem, instead of making matters worse firing the parts cannon ? Which in turn can often make it even more work for them to diagnose as they then have to trawl through and find everything that has been tampered with already, as well as sorting the underlying problem

A quick websearch brings these in Plymouth ?

Wasn't there a guy who used to work at MSD who also ended up down that area too ? ( or maybe that is him )
