Default shortage problems fiesta mk2

Hi all,

So I have a 1987 mk2 fiesta and my number 10 fuse keeps popping. This is the fuse for my driving lights front and back (right side)(red grey). I was looking at a wiring diagram and there should only be a splice off the wire for the rear lights. Now when I followed the wire for potential grounding faults and I found the splice it talked about. But there are 2 extra wires (grey yellow) that runs of to two switches (the rear window heater and the wiper switch I believe) but it is not mentioned anywhere. Is this standard for the car, could it cause the fuse to pop or am I missing something? Am I looking at the right wire/location?

Thanks in advance,

Mitchel
