st220 engine in a st170?

Is there any reason why the v6 from the st220 could not be fitted into an st170?

If I could find a Focus with out rust I could fancy a crack at that and it would cost less than a turbo zetec.

The Duratec 25 has been fitted to mk1+2 fiestas and a mk5~6 Escort.
