Fiesta mk4 Endura 1.3 Clutch/Gearbox rattle
Hi there,
I have a top of the range Fiesta mk4 (1996) Endura-E 1.3 with 27k on the clock. It drove like a new car (had a similar model before for 14 years from new) everything was tight, until I lost brake fluid randomly. Turns out the clutch slave cylinder was leaking and so £350 later I had a garage replace the cylinder and new clutch. So everything is ok but noticed a rattle when the clutch pedal is depressed just past its biting point or to the floor. It seems to get worse depending on the length of journey.
It turns out the garage did a botched job when I looked over their work a few weeks later (wheel was loose, battery cable insulation fell apart which resulted in bare wire, ball joint boot not replaced, gear knob in wrong place (which i told them to sort out))
Anyone know what the rattle could be and is it a cause for concern?
