Morning all ive recently bought a 2.0 zetec 2005 so its the newer looking shape, does anyone know if there is a different manifold that would fit this vehicle? My main pain is that it has a huge downpipe cat but i cant find a decat for this model....

can anyone help? Or has anyone done this before?

I'm sure any decent aftermarket exhaust manufacturer will be able to sort you out, wither off the shelf or a custom build. Email the likes of Milltek, MIJ, Piper etc.

 

Ok thanks bud, ive looked and its like mine is a manifold with cat in... will start digging with the above companys so cheers for the info....

 

Doesn't the ST170 have a tubular manifold? failing that an aftermarket one for the ST might do the trick

 

hey bud thanks for your reply my focus is like a 2006 shape so i dont think the earlier st170 manifold etc fits mine seems to have like a manifold and cat in one, ive looked at the other manifolds available and it almost looks like it would fit if the left was the right side ie, swapped over-would mean pipe would be coming up through engine bay if makes sense... ive seen videos of the 2005 onwards on youtube with a decat and just literally thought would be able to grab one at tescos or somewhere 😂😂 its literally paining me this much i feel like riding a push bike!! Every decat on ebay is available for either :
st170 or st and rs
and also mk1 up to 2004 1.8 and 2.0

mines 2006 model but 2.0 petrol

completely baffled!!! 🔫🔫🔫😭

but would like a cat with NO BAFFLES 😂😂

Mine seems to come from back of engine and under car so bends down, looking at the st170 one it looks as though it would come from front and under, so would be facing towards front of car if i fitted it...

i saw a video of the same shape focus 2.0 with decat on youtube so i thought it might of been widely done before...

im lost....

 

I'd the cat is at the back of your 2.0 then it's not a zetec, it will be a duratec type engine. So nothing from the earlier focus will fit.

Theres a fiesta duratec manifold on ebay looks like same bolt pattern and shape 👍👍👍👍👍 might be getting somewhere

 

An that makes sense then. My Mondeo's a Duratec and that has the manifold at the back. Ignore my ST170 suggestion then

 

Yeh sorry, my bad i havent had a focus etc before and waiting on the logbook so would of explained it better if i had knew,

im gona go for the fiesta duratec manifold and try and see if i can get something to match that 👍👍
