Please HELP 1.8 tdci
Hello
I have been having problems with my focus Mk2 1.8tdci 2006
I have an issue with poor idle as if its only firing on 3 cylinders (engine shaking badly)
When cold it runs fine but as soon as it starts to warm up the full engine starts juddering and struggling to maintain an idle.
Sometimes if I rev it hard it clears and ticks over normal, other times it runs fine when warm but turn it off and then return and restart it the poor idle returns.
I have done the following.
Blanked off EGR
Purchased a set of 4 working injectors (used from a low mileage car) and have so far tried a replacement injector in cyl 1,2 and 4 done at different times to see if each injector would make a difference.
I have no codes present.
Things improved slightly when I ran injector cleaner through it but problem still remains.
Could someone please give any insight as to what I could try next???
