Loose gear knob

Hello folks ,

I've got two doing it first one is a mk4 Fiesta second is a Mk 3 Capri Has anyone got any tips that will stop them from spinning please ?

On my 205 gti the knob kept coming loose, I used some jb weld in there and screwed it on, left it alon for a day or so and now it is rock solid.
