Default Light weight flywheel worth it?

Hi I've got a fiesta rst with a zvh in it, just had the crank and con rods lightened and balanced got them lightened for free as a mate is a night manager at a very good engineering company, I'll be using the c20 ex pistons just wondering if a steel flywheel would be worth it, the flywheel is around £280 and about half the weight as a standard one, just wondering would it make much difference is it worth nearly £300
any inputs will help thanks

F=ma

Anything you want to accelerate will be faster if its lighter. Simple physics.
What will also happen is the deceleration will also be faster as you have stored less inertial energy. Sometimes this is good, other times bad. Depends on your use.

I think the fiesta one is just Under 10kg and a steel flywheel is 3.4kg, has yours made a big difference ?

Yes, revs so much faster, but,my car is a rally car, not a road car.
