Changing turbo?
Im thinking of replacing the turbo on my 4x4 sapphire and was wondering if its something I could do myself. Is it a big job and what problems might I find.
Took mine off yesterday takes about 1 hour. remove heat shield take off hoses, water pipes and oil feed, undo exhaust and remove the studs on the outside to allow the exhaust to be move away. undo the oil drain pipe, undo the four 17mm nuts that hold the turbo to the manifold and it is off regards ED
I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!

Pretty straightforward if you are just replacing. changing type is a different matter as u will need access to fabrication kit etc to make exhausts & pipes etc line up

that's a very "Haynes Manually" simple explanation Ed You got some wierd spanners, or are you a part time gaenocologist??
seriously, a couple of them are a tw@t to get to, a more detailed insight into how you did them would be very helpful!!
