Default St170 forge rebuild..

I'm currently rebuilding the st170 engine in the fiesta and can't find forged pistons for it. Has anybody done this and what pistons did they use?

Going for a high compression build though with head done and cams etc it's on jenvey boddies at the moment with k6 ecu. Going for 250bhp lol that's if it's possible

I'm turboing an ST170 bottom end, and I've found that the aftermarket has mostly ignored these engines for pistons. You might get some from America?
You can't use normal aftermarket blacktop pistons as the rods are different, so you'd have to get a set of rods and pistons for a blacktop and they would fit.
To be honest, stick with standard they will take a lot.

Having a MK1 FRS engine built at the moment. Using SuperTech pistons and Farndon rods.
Other options were Wossner, CP and JE pistons. Last two ruled out on cost grounds, Wossner, some have expressed doubts over, so went for the middle ground with SuperTech

american pistons are what you need as most are 20mm pin, the same as the st170, either that or go for a set of rods and pistons together from any zetec.
