Default Misfiring for first 20 seconds?!

In need of some advice please. My 2003 2.5 V6 Mondeo. When started from cold the first 20-30 seconds will seem like one of the HT or plugs has been removed as in it feel like its misfiring.....After 30 seconds its fine and drives as it should, any ideas?

is it rough idle being cold with the cold start mechanism which can be be normalish. take in to acount the age miles wear. or is it propper missing with a bad ht lead/cap/rotor arm. fuked spark plugs cant cope with over rich cold start fuel when the c/start mech goes of back to norm. try one new lead at a time or plug or change hole lot depending on budget. you got to start some where a proses of alimination

It could be a HG, which is common on these engines.

Thanks for the replies. She has only covered 70,000 miles so low miles with full history. Plugs were changed 4k ago along with all filters, MAF cleaned, TB cleaned etc. Sometimes it starts fine with no kind of 'misfire' I say misfire as this is how it feels. The past few days she has started fine......Strange? I never knew about HG being a common failure on these engines.....Can but pray its not one as they cost a fortune to fix.
