it'll be used as a work van with a few tools for my apprentaship (spelling??) and a daily run around aswell so i wont need a car (and i dont want one!!!)
i cant run a 1.8td because im 16, nearly 17 and i wont ever get insured on it, but i still want the ford van, and this one has been given to me to invest in (if thats what you call it with a ford )
do they do a 1.4 diesel?

o and it has a 1.8 diesel in it at the moment.

search ebay, and try to get the 1.25 zetec, would imagine its a more efficient and more reliable engine...

search classifieds and google search for 1.25 zetec for sale etc etc

for the cost of the engine and fitting... v the cost of insurance and cheeper fuel... leave it as a 1.8d mate. once u have another engine put in it the insurance co will hike yr premium up

why will it put the premium up?
because it is not as ford made it, so its been made non standerd, and insurance companys don't like non standed cars.
just leave it as it is.
