Hi Guys.
So I have a 1978, 2.0 Pinto with single weber 32/36 DGAV
Wasn't running right (Points had burnt out)
I've fitted new. Points, condenser, HT Leads, Dis cap, rotor arm, plugs.
Checked all vacuum pipes are clear.
Will start and run no problem but will only run flat out! / Like choke is on all the time. Will not tick over just cuts out if you tap the throttle.
So fuel is getting through fine. good spark.
Was running fine before points burnt out.
Any ideas what might be wrong?
Thanks Bryan

I would check for air leaks.
Changed the inlet gasket on mine but did not realise I had not cleaned the old gasket off properly.
Had a tiny gap and would cut out unless at half throttle and above otherwise would cut out.
