Hello,just got my s2 back together after a gearbox rebuild and went to start it and.....nothing!you turn the ignition key and de-immobilise,the fuel pump primes but as soon as you turn the key it just refuses to turn over!all the connections look good,all the earth points are good and clean,the battery is a few months old so I don't think it's that and the starter motor is also very new so I don't think that's at fault either..any ideas?

 

I would.go back over everything you have taken apart, wiring plugs, earth leads etc. Should be something simple if it was OK before.
