Hi all, I've got a sierra sapphire azura 1.6cvh with the cfi engine I would like some advice on what to do with this engine maybe to give it a bit more power if not is there any other engine that I could swap maybe zetec? Thanks guys!

 

Best thing is to put in a pinto.

 

zetec is a relatively easy swap as it almost fits straight in on the cvh mounts. don't bother trying to do anything with the sierra cvh. you can get carb manifolds for the zetec too and adapter plates for the exhaust to fit a cvh manifold onto the zetec head.

pinto is also an easy swap, but they are getting harder to find in good condition, whereas zetecs are everywhere.

 

thanks for the info I just wonder do you know if the 1.8 zetec is better than 2.0? Didn't know if one performed better at all any guidance or info much appreciated. Thanks lee
